The IAEE CEM Learning Program
The Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) certification was created to provide a professional designation for individuals in the exhibition and meetings industry. All participants can earn the globally recognized CEM designation while completing a nine-part (seven mandatory and two electives) program within three years. 

Who should attend the program?
Individuals who have at least 2 - 3 years relevant working experience in the exhibition industry should attend the program. These include exhibition industry professionals, event and meeting planners, association professionals, exhibition industry media, and business press.

Please Note: Both of these courses listed below will be offered in Portuguese
(there will not be an English translation available).

The following mandatory programs, recently revised for the European market are scheduled as follows:

8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (0830 - 1700)
Everyone wants to market and promote their exhibitions to increase interest and attendance. In this program, learn how exhibitions fit into the overall marketing mix. There will be an emphasis on identifying the elements that determine how an exhibition is positioned in the marketplace and how to develop, expand and maintain a target market. Budgeting, writing objectives, and identifying the various media that may be used in promotion will also be covered in this program. 

Selling Exhibit Space
Tuesday, 25 November
Room: TBA

8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (0830 - 1700)

An exhibition would not be attractive to its target audience if there were no exhibitors! Selling space is probably the most important element, the, and this program will provide tools to develop a sales plan, with accompanying goals and strategies that will serve as a guide throughout the process.
