CEM Course Information
The CEM Learning Program is made up of eleven courses specializing in the study of exhibitions and events management. Candidates must choose nine out of the eleven courses to take as well as pass the corresponding examinations to satisfy the requirements of the program.
The availability of online and face-to-face courses helps to meet the needs, individual preferences and time commitments of CEM candidates. The average length of time for a candidate to complete the program is two years.
Online Courses
All eleven CEM courses are offered online at various times throughout the year. Each course is four weeks in length and facilitated by a CEM instructor. All coursework takes place online through IAEE's learning management system, Blackboard. The course material is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as long as their is access to the Internet. Assignments must be completed within a specified time period in order to fulfill the requirements of the course and be eligible to sit for the exam. On-Location Courses
All eleven CEM courses are offered at various times throughout the year and are often co-located with other industry association events and IAEE Chapters. On-location courses are activity-based learning environments where the students can engage and learn from their peers as well as the instructor. On-location courses start at 8:30am and end at 4:30pm. All course material is available for immediate download in Blackboard when the candidate enrolls in the program. Candidates are required to read the course module prior to attending the course. CEM Week 2013
Each year IAEE dedicates an entire week to presenting a variety of CEM courses. The courses are held on-location with our highly qualified and experienced CEM instructors. Applicants can register for as many classes as they would like and discounts are offered for purchasing multiple courses during CEM Week. CEM Week 2013 will be held 9 - 13 September in Anaheim, CA.
