CEM On-Location 2010 Courses2010 CEM Program Course Schedule What to Expect On-site There are two types of on-site courses: onlocation and colocation. Each course includes one day of classroom instruction regarless of type. Please visit each individual event webpage (above) to learn more about what time the course ends based on whether the exam will be offered at the end of the class day or if you will have to sit for the exam at a later time. There are two breaks during the day which which will have light snacks and beverages. No breakfast or lunch is provided. The lunch is one and a half hours long and 'on your own'. A list of local lunch options is provided in the "Know Before You Go" email that is sent approximately 7 days prior to the event. Please Note: Arriving more than 30 minutes late at the start of the day or at lunch as well as leaving more than 30 minutes early at the end of the day of for lunch will result in an absence and NO CREDIT GIVEN for the course as well as NO REFUND. CEM Faculty Our faculty of nationally recognized top professionals in the exhibition industry encourages individual learning and practical application within the context of a supportive group environment. Course Materials Course modules (books) are mailed approximately 2-3 weeks prior to the course date. This applies to onlocation courses only. Please visit each individual event webpage to see the cut off date for the module mailing. You will want to be sure to register prior to that date so that you can recieve your materials in advance. The exam is based off the material in the book so it is highly suggested that the book is reviewed prior to the day of the course. Keep an eye out for the "Know Before You Go" email to arrive approximately 7 days prior to the event which will contain helpful location information as well as any additional items to bring with you. Course Examination We do not have control over the AV offered by our co-location events. This means that there is a possibility that the exam will not be held at the end of the day. However, for all IAEE onlocation events, wi-fi will be provided. For testing on-site you will need to bring a sufficiently charged laptop with wireless capabilities. The exam will be online and timed for one hour. Taking the exam on-site, as always, is optional. Candidates have 90 Days from the date of the course to take and PASS the corresponding CEM Exam. Only one re-take is allowed per exam, per course. Candidates have one year from the failed exam date to comlete the re-take. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations, in whole or in part, must be made in writing, and may be subject to cancellation fees. For a full refund, written cancellations must be received no later than 30 business days prior to the event. Within 29-11 business days, all approved refunds are subject to a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations will not be accepted within 10 business days of the event and event fees will not be refunded after the event begins. IAEE reserves the right to modify this policy. Approved refunds will be processed after the event. No credit, transfers, or refunds will be given for course duplication. Please note candidates are automatically enrolled in the CEM Learning Program the date in which the first CEM Exam taken receives a passing grade.
