As the date of an event draws closer, exhibitors and attendees are from time to time subjected to improper solicitation from unaffiliated hotels or third-party housing agencies. IAEE assumes the responsibility to demand a cease and desist of such efforts.

Poachers typically offer a lower rate than the official block rate. With that, room reservations may be offered at significantly lower quality. In other circumstances, cancellation polices are often harsh and unforgiving. For these reasons, and to support our efforts to give you a quality event, we encourage you to book your housing accommodations using the reservation tools provided to attendees. We must wonder about the ethics of those who blatantly intrude on private events such as this and can only speculate at what rude surprises may await for those unsuspecting of such offers.
