How can I change the primary contact for my organization?

What is the process for removing, adding, and updating individuals once the Census Form is submitted to IAEE?

Is there an incentive for my company to pay before our Organization's Dues Renewal date?

Yes.  A dues statement will be sent to the primary contact two months prior to the organization's renewal date. If all documentation (Membership Form, Census Form, and dues payment) is paid prior to your organization's expiration date, you will receive a Smart Choice coupon equal to 5% of the dues paid, for use towards any IAEE educational programming during the subsequent 12 month period.  If dues are paid after your organization's expiration date, a Smart Choice coupon will not be awarded.

Can member representatives belong to more than one chapter?  If so, how do I add additional chapters? 

Yes.  Member representatives are automatically enrolled in their local chapter, based on the zip code/postal code of their membership record.  If a member representative wishes to belong to an additional chapter, then he/she may do so for an additional fee.  Contact membership@iaee.com to add chapters.  Each additional chapter is $35 per individual for all chapters, except Hawaii, which is $50.  A list of chapters can be found at www.iaee.com / About IAEE / Chapters.

What happens if my organization will not pay dues under the new structure?  I have been an IAEE member for a long time and want to remain a member.

We anticipate that organizations who are actively involved in the exhibition and event industry will want to play a vital role in their trade association.  We also recognize that a small number of existing members may have issues or questions relative to this transition.

I am a member representative, but have lost my job. Can I remain a member?

Yes.  Contact membership@iaee.com to request a provisional membership form.  Certain conditions do apply.

What if my organization can be classified under both the Industry Member and Event Facility Member method of dues calculation?

Any organization that may be classified under either of the two categories may use either method of dues calculation.

How can I find out who is in my local chapter?

Chapter information is located under About IAEE. You may access IAEE's online or digital directories to get a full listing of all chapter members by searching by the chapter name.  Both the online and digital directories are a Members Only resource.  The online directory is located under Membership and the digital directory is located under Events & Education, Partnership Marketing.
