IAEE Issues Call for Presentation Proposals for Expo! Expo! New Orleans
Submission Deadline is 15 March
DALLAS, 9 February 2010 The
International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) calls upon
exhibitions and events industry professionals to share their knowledge
and business expertise through education sessions at Expo! Expo! IAEE's
Annual Meeting and Exhibition to be held 7-9 December 2010 in New
Orleans, La., USA.
Relevant, high quality education is an
ongoing process that takes top priority for us, notes Daniel McKinnon,
2010 chairman of the IAEE Education Committee. We aim to lead our
industrys education by thoroughly researching and reviewing
submissions, thereby consistently keeping our finger on the pulse of the
needs of our members.
Interested parties are invited to submit
proposals for the opportunity to present material in the following
education tracks:

Exhibitor and Event Marketers:
Topics and content related to the needs of exhibitors as well as to
corporate event marketers who are responsible for managing customer
events.

Global Business Development: Topics
and content related to the conduct of exhibitions and events, and
business activities, across national borders.

Marketing and Communications:
Topics and content related to negotiation, public speaking,
presentation skills and communications, as well as public relations,
and defining and promoting the brand.

Operations of Exhibitions and Events:
Topics and content related to the planning, budgeting, production and
on-site management of an exhibition or event.

Professional Development and Conference
Management: Topics and content related to the planning, budgeting,
logistics and management of meetings and conferences, and also to the
enhancement of personal and professional skills such as time
management, leadership, motivating staff, communications and other
topics that assist in accelerating career success.

Sales: Topics and content related
to the mechanics and management of the sales process.

Technology: Topics and content
related to doing business electronically.
Selected presenters will be expected to
participate in at least two of the following education offerings
surrounding their session: Pre-show Webinar, LinkedIn Discussion,
Pre-show Blog Post and/or Pre-Show TweetChat.

topics and/or recommendations for compelling speakers may contact IAEE

presentation proposals is Monday, 15 March 2010.
