Brian Casey, CEM
Brian Casey, CEM, is currently an industry consultant with 37 years of experience in the trade show and exhibition industry. Prior to launching his consulting practice, Brian served as President & CEO for the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR), where he was responsible for leading and overseeing all research, new product development, fund raising, public speaking and the continuation of enterprise activities such as the CEIR Predict Conference and annual fund-raising golf tournaments.
Prior to joining CEIR, Brian served as Vice President & General Manager during preconstruction and build of Cleveland’s new Convention Center and Global Center for Health Innovations, President and CEO of the High Point Market Authority (the largest furniture exhibition in the world), Executive Vice President at Smith Bucklin, as well as Managing Director of Trade Shows for the International Housewares Exposition.
Brian has also served on boards for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland CVB, the International Association of Exhibitions & Events (IAEE) and the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR). Casey has also served as chairman of the Major American Trade Show Organizers (MATSO) and chairman of the IAEE Midwest chapter, advisory boards for Columbus CVB, Phoenix CVB and Chicago CVB as well as the advisory board for GES Exhibition Services.
