Gerardo Barajas, CEM, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration at ITESO University “Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Occidente”. His professional career began in Mexicana Airlines in the city of Guadalajara, where he held positions in sales and operations. Later, Gerardo led for 3 years one of the most important events in Latin America in the apparel industry, “Intermoda”, where he consolidated his experience in this kind of events.
Gerardo currently leads one of the most important events in Latin America on the Packaging and Processing industry EXPO PACK, offering to thousands of companies the opportunity of doing business. His relationship with the national and regional chambers has grown the influx of visitors and exhibitors in recent years at EXPO PACK events. He successfully carried out two of the most important challenges in the history of this show: moving EXPO PACK México to a new venue after 12 years and bringing the full show to another city (EXPO PACK Guadalajara) breaking the record of the number of visitors to the show.
Gerardo currently is a member of the Executive Committee of IAEE Mexico Chapter, a VP Organizer of the Executive Committee of AMPROFEC, Secretary of the Executive Committee of AMEE, and a member of the Executive Committee of ANGECAI.
