CEIR will release the results of its latest tracker survey monitoring the impact of COVID-19 on the US B2B exhibition industry. Results will assess the extent of impact on staffing and the 2021 event schedule including the rate of postponements, cancellations and events that remain on schedule.
As importantly, CEIR’s assessment of the state of the industry will be revisited and the four-scenario outlook for recovery will be discussed, taking into consideration the transition to a Biden administration, as well as the status of distribution of vaccines and the rate of new COVID-19 cases.
What does this portend for 2021? Are we likely to reach the light at the end of the tunnel sooner or are we on track with earlier CEIR forecasts or is recovery likely to be pushed out to a later time?
