Working professionals are constantly faced with high demanding workloads that can often lead to high burnout. How do you protect yourself? Burnout is an endemic problem and professionals must nurture and cultivate personal resilience as a defense mechanism for total well-being. Elements of personal resilience include: self-awareness, mindfulness, sense of purpose and meaning, self-care, and supportive relationships. Resilient people do not let adversity define them.
