5 June is our chapter day of service. Give back, get dirty, feel good.
Service is one of the major pillars within our larger IAEE community. At Green Chimneys, a worldwide leader in animal-assisted therapy and educational activities for children with special needs, volunteers are the lifeblood. In our chapter, we are lucky to have an amazing Young Professionals group who have coordinated this amazing opportunity to give back.
Space is limited to 25, so you will join up to 24 of your fellow chapter members in a special day of donating your time to help a worthy organization. Volunteer work can include tasks around the farm such as gardening, painting or cleaning animal pens so be sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. After the work, stick around for a tour around the farm to meet the animals.
