Following Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) last year, Apple changed its App Store review guidelines to now ban “apps created from a commercialized template or app generation service,”. Simply put, any apps that are made with tools that produce copycat programs could be rejected from Apple’s marketplace. Since then, the event industry has witnessed a flurry of knee-jerk recommendations from event app providers, claiming everything from apps will be forced into a container, to bold claims that organizers were required to “get your app grandfathered-in before the end of Dec 2017, or you would lose your ability to have a branded app in the app store.” Join this webinar to learn what you need to know to successfully navigate this policy update and to be properly prepared for what the future holds.
