IAEE Now Accepting Applications for 2016 Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund Grants

DALLAS – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events™ (IAEE) has opened the application process for the 2016 Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund Grants, which aid qualified professionals in their pursuit of continuing education and career development in the exhibitions and events industry.

“These grants offer an opportunity for driven industry members to genuinely develop their skills and offer the best to the profession,” said 2016 IAEE Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund Task Force Chairperson Janet Levy. “Bob was a passionate advocate for education and this is a great tribute to his mentorship legacy.”

The Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund supports exhibitions and events industry education and professional development by providing a challenging and engaging educational experience. The fund is designed for young professionals, professionals new to the exhibitions and events industry, those that are intellectually curious about trends and opportunities, and those that are interested in learning about the global marketplace.

Applicants for grants are required to submit detailed information regarding their employment and experience in the exhibitions and events industry, as well as their intent for continued education and development of their career. Grant recipients will be recognized during Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition to be held 6-8 December 2016 in Anaheim, Calif.

Members of the 2016 IAEE Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund Task Force are:

  • Irene Sperling, Vice President & Associate Publisher, Trade Show Executive Magazine
