DALLAS, 18 April 2019 – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) has released the fifth edition of The Art of the Show, An Introduction to Exhibition Management textbook. Written by a broad spectrum of industry experts, this body of knowledge is a standard resource in university and college classrooms around the globe and provides an up-to-date resource for the experienced professional.
The newest edition of The Art of the Show, An Introduction to Exhibition Management focuses on the requirements for planning and holding a successful exhibition, both for business-to-business and business-to-consumer events, and what must be done leading up to the exhibition, during the exhibition and post-event to create a marketplace for buyers and sellers that fosters engagement and offers a synergistic environment. A robust glossary of industry terms was added, as well as two new chapters.
“We added more than 100 pages to this edition to reflect the latest industry trends and best practices,” said IAEE President & CEO David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA. “With nearly 70 experienced industry contributors, The Art of the Show is a trusted source of information for all exhibitions and events professionals.”
