Hubb is a cloud-based software platform that simplifies the process for collecting, managing, and marketing event content. Using Hubb, event-planning teams can collaborate to build one central source of accurate and timely information that powers their event content, allows them to bring their events to market, and drives registration. The platform is flexible to the needs of events of all sizes. Hubb was founded in 2012 in Vancouver, Washington.
Event planners designed the Hubb solution for event planners. It provides a unified framework for processing content for sessions, speakers, and sponsors, with open application-programming interfaces (APIs) that seamlessly integrate best-in-breed providers. Hubb saves time and allows event planners to focus on curating better meetings and building communities.
Hubb’s API manages content for Microsoft Ignite, one of the largest technology conferences in the world. In that capacity, it feeds information to the event’s marketing website, digital signage, mobile app, MyIgnite website, sponsor/exhibitor offerings, session scanning application, and the Microsoft Ignite Bot. Hubb offers attendees a consistent experience across the entire event and easier access to event content.
This year, for the first time, Microsoft Ignite offered attendees machine-learning-based recommendations on which sessions to attend and with whom to network, all based on the choices they made throughout the event, such as interests, location, session scans, and evaluations. Microsoft collaborated with Hubb to help leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning to provide personalized experiences to Ignite attendees.
