a2zShow from a2z, Inc. of Columbia, Maryland is a Software-as-a-Service exposition and conference management platform for non-profit and for-profit organizations. Features of the software include a multi-event administration portal and data analysis and visualization tool (StAR). a2zShow helps organizers build mobile-optimized websites and brandable, interactive online floor plans. It automates exhibit booth sales with web-based booth selection, payment, and invoicing and gives exhibitors access to tiered, self-service eBooths and product showcases.
The exhibits chair for the IEEE Power & Energy Society’s Transmission & Distribution Conference & Exposition had tried other approaches to floor plan management, booth selection, exhibitor profile creation, and conference session scheduling, but selected a2zShow because of its ability to manage “parent-child” (more focused examinations of a broader topic) conference sessions. Using a2zShow, one person was able to handle space selection, contract processing, payments, and directory listings for 855 exhibiting companies. She also coordinated the online conference schedule for 100 technical sessions and 885 speakers.
a2zShow enabled the World Pet Association (WPA) to address the needs of more than 1,700 exhibitors at four exhibitions. Participants were able to view available exhibit space, select booth locations, and execute contracts online. Organizers received up-to-the-minute access to the floor plan status. The a2z solution helped WPA overcome the shortcomings of previous solutions: using a manual process to integrate the floor plan with the Association Management System (AMS), updating product listings and other databases by hand, and working through a website that was not responsive.
