Expo Logic is a global event technology and service company specializing in online and on-site registration, face recognition check-in, lead retrieval, and attendee- tracking solutions.

Face recognition for attendee check-in is an on-site solution for printing badges. It integrates with over 40 customer-relationship management (CRM), association management solutions (AMS), and event registration platforms, enabling event organizers to provide an innovative check-in experience using their existing system.

Face recognition offer organizers many benefits, including reduced check-in times for attendees who opt-in to face recognition, decreased staff burden due to self-check-in capabilities, and flexibility in registration locations thanks to portable kiosks which can be placed in hotels, airports and more. The enhanced attendee experience reflects positively on the event brand.

To use face recognition, attendees can opt to upload a picture during the online registration process. At the event, registration kiosks with cameras are available for attendees to check themselves in. When an attendee approaches a kiosk, the camera scans their face and automatically prints his or her badge.

Spring Masterminds, an event hosted by Keller Williams in Washington, D.C. in April of 2018 used face recognition to check in attendees and print their badges. The response was very positive from both attendees and staff. The event drew 1,360 registrants, and 48% of attendees opted to use face recognition for check-in.
