Cloud Touch of Lakewood, Colorado provides interactive attendee experiences for events and meetings. Its giant Android touch screens display custom interactive content to increase attendee engagement. The firm rents its touch screens for large events and provides onsite support for a seamless customer experience.
Meeting Professionals International (MPI) adopted Cloud Touch technology to redesign and re-imagine its flagship event, World Education Congress (WEC18). MPI deployed 30 interactive Cloud Touch screens throughout the event. The screens replaced traditional printed meter boards that would have typically shown the schedule and floor plan.
Cloud Touch created an interactive attendee experience with custom content available through the touchscreens. Attendees could easily find booths, vendors, and sessions using interactive maps. They could also browse the interactive agenda to stay on time for their meetings. The custom interactive content included profiles for all chapter leaders and speakers.
Using the Cloud Touch remote screen management app that is preinstalled on all screens, show management was able to quickly make changes on the fly to control content and schedule changes. It allowed MPI to easily add last minute exhibitors and sponsors, a capability that generally would not have been possible with printed signage.
MPI included Cloud Touch screens in all four of the CSR activation booths at the event. Cloud Touch created custom content unique to each booth that allowed attendees to learn more about each cause and even make donations through the touchscreens. The increased engagement with each opportunity provided an interactive attendee experience.
The Cloud Touch screens featured at WEC18 provided a new sponsorship opportunity for MPI vendors. For the first time, sponsors were able to generate leads through the touchscreens. Unlike printed advertising, sponsors received lead capture data when attendees requested more information about vendors through the screens. Cloud Touch also provides an automated marketing platform built into the lead capture form so that the attendees could receive texts, emails, and coupons from advertisers.
MPI featured Cloud Touch screens throughout the hosted buyer event so attendees could easily find their tables and arrive on time. A giant countdown clock displayed the time remaining time for each appointment.
The Cloud Touch Lock app that is pre-installed on each screen provides a secure browsing environment for the attendees. All content is locked down in a password protected kiosk mode, and users can only interact with approved content from event management. The Cloud Touch Lock app refreshes to the home page when an attendee walks away from the screen and defaults to a screensaver mode when sitting idle. MPI used the screensaver mode to show a full-screen video with a floating hand that interacted with the content to increase engagement. Post-show, Cloud Touch provided analytics showing engagement and how many times attendees touched content.
