Sponsorship Boost based in White Marsh, Maryland specializes in providing non-dues revenue to associations. Offerings include exhibit sales, marketing and management, sponsorship development and sales, print and digital advertising and publishing, and in-event games.
At a recent meeting of the Association of Vascular Access (AVA), Sponsorship Boost’s sales and operations team coordinated a mobile scavenger hunt game and sponsorship opportunity. The team used CadmiumCD’s eventScribe mobile app to enhance the attendee experience and raise significant revenue.
Sponsorship Boost worked with AVA to create the Scan & Win Scavenger Hunt in the eventScribe App. AVA gave prizes (including cash, registration, gift cards, and apple air pods) to attendees who scanned all ten QR codes.
All attendees who played the game to completion (approximately 40% of attendees) received a water bottle as a completion prize. Organizers also gave away three larger prizes each day and a grand prize on the last day. The association earned an additional $25,000 in sponsorship revenue and sponsors received additional booth traffic.
The eventScribe app allowed AVA to extend the reach and duration of the game, which in turn drove more revenue. A limited number of sponsors were allowed to participate, which made the game a very exclusive offering. The mobile app scavenger hunt was also a sponsor branding opportunity that created enthusiasm and engagement for participants.
