Washington, DC-based Streampoint Solutions is an event management solutions company. It offers an online and onsite registration platform, attendee badge production, eMarketing services, housing and travel capabilities, lead retrieval, and online floor plan management software.
At Expo! Expo!, the annual trade show and conference of the International Association for Exhibitions and Events (IAEE), Streampoint facilitated the integration of multiple third-party software systems used for the event to streamline the data sharing across platforms and create a consistent attendee experience.
To execute the integration, Streampoint built an open application-programming interface (API) for partners to share data. Custom APIs were developed to ensure a two-way integration with the association’s CRM (the primary source of data truth). In addition:
- Streampoint created a custom integration with a2z to ensure all registered attendees synchronized with NetworkNow.
- Core-apps pulled data via the Streampoint open API to help ensure that scheduling, interactions, and other mobile app functions were operative.
- Streampoint made it possible for Hubvents to access attendee data to complement its proximity-beacon solution.
By providing seamless multi-platform integration that is continuously up to date and consistent, attendees, exhibitors, and other stakeholders can gain immediate insight, make powerful connections, and have a more rewarding event experience.
