Being a part of IAEE has also helped prepare me for my current role as chair of the Southeastern Chapter and in advancing the Chapter’s future.
What advice would you give to a new member?
My advice to a new member would be to participate in as many events and networking opportunities as possible. I have made some valuable connections and developed some great relationships as a result of doing this.
What do you like most about your chapter?
The interaction that we have with each other within our chapter is great. Everyone is really nice, and we all try to help each other as much as possible.
What do you like most about Expo! Expo!?
Expo! Expo! allows me to see the latest technology and services offered within the exhibition and events industry, and I always see something new when I attend. I saw appreciate the information that I gain through the education programs, and I would be remiss if I did not mention the great networking events that are offered.
How do you currently use social media for your events?
We use social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) to help promote our chapter’s events and networking opportunities. We also use these platforms to recognize our members for their wonderful achievements.
