Here, he shares how earning the CEM designation has enhanced his knowledge of exhibition and event management.
How will the CEM designation help in your career?
It will add a professional touch and comprehensive focus to my projects.
Why is it important to maintain the CEM designation?
It is as important to the success of a project from the first step to the last, and maintaining it is a major challenge, especially with the advancement of exhibition technologies.
What made you want to obtain your CEM designation?
I was interested in the broader and more comprehensive specialization, and wanted to increase my awareness and comprehensive knowledge.
What advice would you give to an aspiring individual who wants to apply for the CEM program?
I strongly advise them to apply, and I have already done so for my team members. The benefits of this program are unparalleled.
How did you start your career in this industry?
More than eight years ago, I was working as a freelancer in organizing exhibitions, and I wanted to continue and specialize in this. Now, I am the Head of Events and Public Relations at a major semi-governmental company.
What did you like most about the CEM Learning Program?
Its comprehensiveness and the selected teaching staff, as well as the diversity and precision of concepts, and the examples of exhibitions and conferences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which contributed to greater understanding.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I can spend more than 48 hours before an event without taking a break due to my intense attention to detail. Therefore, after conferences and events, it’s quite normal for me to sleep, get a 24-hour break, and disappear from the world. 🙂
