How has the CEM designation helped in your career?
CEM accomplishes itself as a professional mark of achievement and carries distinct advantage to anyone in exhibitions. CEM has provided me an excellent opportunity to enhance my industry knowledge & exhibition management principles, meet new friends, and learn new ideas. All of this helps me immensely and boosts the required confidence levels to make the right decisions.
Why is it important to maintain the CEM designation?
It’s important to stay on top and learn what’s going on in our industry. CEM is important as it adds credibility to our work and improves performance as well as gain new knowledge with friends. It’s helpful for our partners, customers and the organization we work to feel more confident about us.
What made you want to obtain your CEM designation?
I wanted to acquire this professional qualification because I wanted to learn about international practices and gain from industry experts. Being a CEM certainly adds more to our confidence and improves our work.
What advice would you give to an aspiring individual who wants to apply for the CEM program?
Go for it. It’s worth the time and investment. You will learn new things and the networking adds win-win situation. If you need to advance in career, GO for CEM!
How did you start your career in this industry?
Exhibitions as a career just happened to me many years ago. It’s one of the best industries to be involved in and I’m loving it. I started as an executive long ago, and now I am a Director responsible for the growth of some leading exhibitions.
How have you made a difference with your show or with working with a client by applying the knowledge you gained by obtaining your CEM designation?
I cannot make too many differences immediately, but certainly I can work out details in some areas, especially related to event operations and crisis management techniques.
What did you like most about the CEM Learning Program?
There’s so much to like about the CEM Learning Program. I liked the great fun-loving faculty teachers, live presentations & class-room exercises, camaraderie with friends and the networking with everyone.

I am an avid traveler. I love discovering new places and making new friends.
