Why is it important to maintain the CEM designation?

To stay informed on any industry changes.

What made you want to obtain your CEM designation?

I believe in educating oneself at all times possible. CEM is a designation that takes time and dedication.

What advice would you give to an aspiring individual who wants to apply for the CEM program?

Go for it. Start with something that you feel you have a great understanding of already. This will help with any pre-course anxiety. It will also be a fresh reminder of how much we don’t know.

How did you start your career in this industry?

I started out working in Special Events in Los Angeles.

How have you made a difference with your show or with working with a client by applying the knowledge you gained by obtaining your CEM designation?

I lead a sales team. Obtaining my CEM allows me to “Walk my Talk”.

What was it that you did or implemented right after obtaining your CEM?

What did you like most about the CEM Learning Program?

The flexibility, the diverse teacher backgrounds.

Fun fact about you – What is one thing most people don’t know about you?

I’ve worked in the film/TV industry.
