How has the CEM designation helped in your career?
 
It has opened some questions I have never asked before.
 
Why is it important to maintain the CEM designation?
 
To ensure that we keep in track with the latest developments and innovations in the industries.
 
What made you want to obtain your CEM designation?
 
To make me more marketable.
 
What advice would you give to an aspiring individual who wants to apply for the CEM program?
 
Take everything in you learn and use it practically.
 
How did you start your career in this industry?
 
As a cost accountant for a service company in the exhibition industry.
 
How have you made a difference with your show or with working with a client by applying the knowledge you gained by obtaining your CEM designation?
 
There is for a fact some areas I lacked knowledge. This will surely be used once we restart our industry.
 
What was it that you did or implemented right after obtaining your CEM?
 
We would look at other means of flows in our exhibitions. The main reason is COVID 19. We have learned a bit of changing to adapt.
 
What did you like most about the CEM Learning Program?
Bob Kelley. Great facilitator.
 
Fun fact about you – What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I love the outdoors – hiking, mountain biking, braaiing/barbecue and wine. And a bit of German beer (Helles/Lager).
