About the Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) Program
In the exhibitions and events industry, the Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation is the premier designation offering a cutting-edge certification for exhibitions and events industry professionals.
The CEM designation accommodates short- and long-term career goals with education that can be tailored to meet specific needs and interests. Participants are able to select and develop expertise in nine areas of specialized study in exhibitions and events management. The availability of online and face-to-face courses helps to meet the needs, individual preferences and time commitments of CEM participants. The CEM Learning Program is a global designation offered in the United States, Canada, China, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Singapore, Spain and Taiwan.
The CEM curricula, a dependable source of specific knowledge for all individuals, emphasize direct application to daily challenges. Because of the emphasis on practical knowledge, the CEM Learning Program is first, an educational program, and second, a certification program.
I always enjoy participating in IAEE's CEM Learning Programs. The CEM designation is highly regarded within the Exhibitions Industry, and a certification I highly value. The re-certification program challenges individuals like myself with over 22 years of experience, to continue taking educational programs. I ALWAYS walk out of these classes with a nugget or two that can be used to improve my event.
