    The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) is pleased to have the opportunity to publish your contribution to the IAEE Tech Guide (1st Edition). This document, when signed by you, will constitute the agreement between IAEE and you for your contribution.

    1. You hereby grant and assign exclusively to IAEE all rights of any kind, including copyright, in your contribution. Subsequent to publication of the Technology Use Case Guide, IAEE grants to you an irrevocable, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to use your contribution in any volume consisting wholly of your own work or in courses taught by you, provided that each such use shall carry the copyright notice as it appears in the IAEE Technology Use Guide.

    2. You warrant that the contribution is original and that you are the sole author of it and have full power to make this Agreement; that your contribution has not previously been published, in whole or in part; that you have used all reasonable care to ensure that all facts and statements in your contribution are true; and that your contribution is not defamatory or obscene and does not violate any right of privacy, common law or statutory copyright or other personal or property rights. You agree to indemnify and hold IAEE harmless against any claim or judgment to the contrary. You further warrant that you have the right to assign the copyright to IAEE, and that no rights protected by copyright to the contribution have been previously assigned. It is understood that the copyright to the contribution has not been registered with the United States Copyright Office or any other intellectual property registry in the United States or elsewhere, but in the event that such registration has taken place, you agree to transfer the copyright to IAEE promptly.

    3. You agree to obtain promptly, at your expense, any permissions necessary for reprinting in your contribution material under copyright or for reproducing illustrations, charts, drawings, diagrams or other illustrative material under copyright, and to transmit such permissions in writing to the editor with the final copies of the manuscript.

    4.     5. You will review the copyedited manuscript and respond to questions by a reasonable deadline. You agree to read, correct and promptly return to IAEE all proofs of your contributions. If you fail to return proofs by the deadline, IAEE shall be free to proceed with publication of the IAEE Technology Use Case Guide without your corrected proofs. You agree that IAEE may, at its discretion, disallow any or all of your alterations in proofs that are not solely corrections of errors made by IAEE.

    We appreciate your contribution to the Technology Use Case Guide. You will receive no monetary compensation for the publication of the contribution or for any licensing of the contribution.
