Tradeshow and Events Specialist, Skyjack, Inc.
Having over 15 years’ experience in the industry, Stephanie has planned, executed, and overseen a variety of events from small executive board retreats to large VIP customer appreciation events and trade shows. Stephanie has even spent some time on the supplier side, representing a handful of DMOs to the MICE and Travel and Tourism industries.
Throughout her career, she has been called upon multiple times to stand behind the podium – from food safety training, to presenting awards at galas, to standing in front of a classroom of college students and a few other engagements here and there. For some, public speaking comes rather easily, whereas others, it takes years of practice. Stephanie attributes her speaking skills and comfort on stage to her OAC law teacher that coached her team to the Ontario Bar Association’s Mock Trial championship. When you are presenting to Ontario Criminal Court judges, you best be on the ball and prepared for whatever they may throw at you! It is this early training that has helped her throughout the years, and which she attributes her poise and confidence when called upon to present.
Stephanie is currently the Tradeshow and Events Specialist for Skyjack Inc. as well as the Vice President of the Skyjack Social Committee. Outside of work, Stephanie is busy volunteering. She is currently the Director of Membership for MPI Toronto Chapter, the Chair of the MPI PR Advisory Board and volunteers for the MPI Foundation Canada Council. She is also the Chair of Membership for The Exhibitor Advocate and was an EVENT Designer for the EVENT 2023.
When not at work or volunteering, Stephanie loves to travel whenever and wherever she can, spend time on the water in her kayak or at home relaxing with a good book and her cats, TC and Bella.
