Instructions:
The application process is completely online. Once you begin the process, you must complete all the required fields before hitting submit. You will not be able to leave or save your information and return again. If you have questions, please reach out to Marsha Flanagan, M.Ed.
Those who are selected to be Helen Brett recipients will receive:
- Up to $5,000 in tuition assistance.
- Consideration will be given for scholarship recipients to have an internship experience at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition.
Helen Brett Checklist:
- Completed scholarship application (form below)
- College, university, junior or technical college-issued official transcript *NOTE* High school students are not eligible for this scholarship.
- Essay submission
- Two (2) letters of recommendation from non-family members
- Tips for a recommendation letter:
- Professionally formatted with a proper salutation
- Explain why the applicant fits the requirements
- Cover applicant’s accomplishments and abilities
- Include any other positive points of interest about the applicant
- Resume – time to update!!!
- Must include:
- List your extra-curricular activities, both in and out of school, and the years of participation
- List positions of leadership you have held, both in and out of school (e.g. Community Groups, Service Organizations, Philanthropy, IAEE, MPI, etc.):
- List awards and honors you have received in both academic and extra-curricular activities
- List work experience (paid or voluntary) list the job title, the average number of hours worked per week, and the dates of employment:
- List any industry association membership you are involved with (e.g. IAEE, MPI, PCMA, etc.)
