CEM Learning Program Opportunities

The Certified in Exhibition Management® (CEM) designation is a globally recognized designation that demonstrates the highest professional standard throughout the exhibition and event management arena. It was first created in 1975 to raise professional standards in the events industry and it continues to be the premier mark of professional achievement. The designation is obtained by completion of nine courses offered in classroom and online formats. The CEM Learning Program is offered in the U.S., Canada, Brazil, China, Dubai, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, and Thailand.

CEM Title Partner

Title sponsorship receives exposure for all areas of the CEM Learning Program with signage and pre-and post-show promotion at all
CEM events, on the website, and emails to potential and current program participants.

CEM Certification

IAEE will provide exposure to sponsor through use of the CEM logo that incorporates, appropriately, sponsor support of the
program in the following manner throughout the term of this agreement:

A refreshed co-branded CEM logo design will be mutually agreed upon by sponsor and IAEE. This co-branded CEM logo will appear on all global programming including the following:

  • The top of the home page of the Student Resource Center (within the IAEE LMS) where students go to download modules and take exams.
  • Cover page of 12 course modules. Every participant downloads/views copy of course module for their course (approximately 3,200 per year, includes U.S. and international)
  • The top of the home page of the CEM Faculty Resource Center (within IAEE LMS) where faculty go to download modules.
  • The top of the home page of seven (7) licensee Resource Centers (within IAEE LMS) where licensee goes to download modules
  • Results letter sent to students containing results of exams taken. (approximately 1,200 emailed per year)
  • Signage at all events (20 per year)
  • CEM Website and CEM Online home page (www.iaee.com/cem)
  • Homepage of every online course in the IAEE LMS (18 courses per year)
  • CEM certificate printed for every graduate (220 printed each year)
  • CEM Daily Agenda – sent to every participant for each on-location course (900 emailed per year)
  • Cover of the Faculty Manual sent to each CEM faculty member every year and the Manual of Operations sent to each licensee every year (60 manuals emailed each year)
  • Course Evaluation Survey – sent to every participant for every course; Results contain logo – results sent to instructor (1,600 participants view survey each year)
  • CEM Recertification Application – every CEM that recertifies fills out an application; approval letter they receive back has logo (500  applications and letters emailed per year)
  • CEM Faculty Application – all faculty applicants fill out an application to apply for faculty; approval/denial letter they receive back has logo (10 applications and letters per year)
  • CEM Faculty Agreement – first page of each faculty agreement (50 agreements emailed per year)
  • Agreements with co-locations and chapter courses (10 agreements emailed per year)
  • All electronic promotion either promoting or mention of the CEM Learning Program (30 emails sent per year)
  • Printed CEM schedule (approximately 2,000 printed and given out at events)
  • Printed CEM brochure (approximately 2,000 printed and given out at events)

Webinars (SOLD)

Throughout the year, IAEE conducts 25-30 specialty learning webinars tailored to IAEE members with topics of interest chosen from member needs surveys, popular educational sessions from other events and the latest hot topics from the exhibition and events industry. Webinars feature top speakers and thought leaders sharing trade show tips and solutions for some of the most critical challenges facing exhibition and event organizers, exhibit managers, and event marketers today. Webinars average 80-100 participants. Title Partner has exclusive rights to:

  • Recognition before, during, and after each webinar
  • Branding on all website/dedicated emails about the webinars
  • Recognition in the presentation deck during webinar welcoming and closing remarks
  • Registration list of participants provided to the partner after each webinar

MATSO Program

Representing shows with more than 200,000 net square feet of exhibition space, the IAEE MATSO (Major American Trade Show Organizer) Council works to develop best practices unique to major trade shows and release position statements on challenges/issues/current circumstances that impact the major trade events and exhibitions overall in support of face-to-face meetings.

Each year, the MATSO Community meets in the spring during a large show (to be determined each year by the IAEE MATSO Council) and during Expo! Expo!.
