Jennifer Potter, CEM, in her role as Senior CEM Program Manager, manages all elements of the CEM journey which include the Certified in Exhibition Management® (CEM) Learning Program, Workforce Ready, CEM Advanced Professional (CEM-AP), CEM Fellow and CEM Emeritus programs. The CEM designation is a globally recognized designation that demonstrates the highest professional standard throughout the exhibitions and events management arena.
She is the staff liaison to the CEM Commission, assisting in providing the policies and procedures for the continued development and conduct of the CEM programs and for maintaining the quality and professional standards of the CEM, CEM-AP, CEM Fellow and CEM Emeritus designations. Jennifer was instrumental in leading IAEE’s efforts to create an online learning management system which houses IAEE’s new CEM courses that were converted to on-demand to provide learners with more flexible learning opportunities.
Jennifer began her career with Hanley-Wood Exhibitions in 2002 as an Associate Conference Manager assisting in planning the education program for two residential building industry trade shows. She has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Criminal Justice from Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg, PA and became CEM certified in October 2021.
