Chapters Leaders Council

The purpose of the Council is to address issues of common interest of IAEE leadership and IAEE’s Chapters. IAEE’s policy is to promote the welfare of its Chapters and to encourage cooperation between the international organization and its chapters. The IAEE Board of Directors chairperson will appoint the chairperson and board liaison for the council.

The council is composed of IAEE’s leaders, including the chairperson and vice chairperson of each Chapter. The 2026 Chapter Leaders Council is charged with:

The 2026 Chapter Leaders Council is charged with:

1. The Chapter Leader’s Council will reassess the purpose, structure, and operation of chapters to ensure they align with the overarching goals of the organization. This includes:

• • • Revisiting the foundational purpose of chapters and why they exist.
    • Identifying opportunities to enhance and modernize chapter operations.
    • Discuss and developing strategies to foster deeper, more meaningful engagement among chapter members through innovative programs, events, and initiatives.

2. Maintain channels of communication among the chapters and between the chapters and IAEE Headquarters.
3. Encourage activities and programs that support the mutual interests of IAEE and the chapters
4. To maintain a cooperative and supportive relationship among IAEE and its chapters by providing a forum wherein chapters can share ideas and concerns of common interest/challenges and identify common needs and goals.
5. Utilization of MemberLink to share “Best Practices” for effective chapter management.
6. Volunteer development throughout the year with virtual roundtable offerings and leadership development.
7. Chapter Leader Council members are expected to engage with IAEE marketing channels, including but not limited to opening marketing emails from IAEE and engaging on social media posts by liking, resharing, and/or commenting.
