IAEE Humanitarian Award
The IAEE Humanitarian Award recognizes an IAEE member company or an IAEE member representative who demonstrates commitment to equality and social responsibility, and exemplifies unselfish giving to the well-being of humanity through aiding those less fortunate, and eliminating/reducing the pain and suffering of others.
Nominees will be considered based on examples of having a strong commitment to participating in or promoting activities that emphasize year-around social responsibility in responding to domestic and/or global issues and participates in community activities addressing a need outside of the exhibitions and events industry. Nominees will also be considered based on notable contributions to charitable organization and special recognitions received.
Eligibility and Rules
Self-nomination is not permitted. Nominations submitted without supporting documentation will not be eligible for consideration.
Member Organization Criteria:
- Organization has a corporate social responsibility statement.
- Demonstrates an ongoing commitment to social responsibility.
Member Representative Criteria:
- Individual demonstrates a year-around commitment to social responsibility in the community they live in and work.
Examples of Qualifying Data
- Providing mentoring and educational enrichment to “at risk” youth.
- Serving the homeless, disabled or elderly population.
- Launching a community service program.
Evaluation Criteria
- Commitment to participating in or promoting activities that emphasize year-round social responsibility in responding to domestic and/or global issues.
- Participation in community activities addressing a need outside of the exhibitions and events industry.
- Notable contributions to charitable organization and special recognitions received.
- Nominee’s overall level of involvement in/contribution to IAEE.
