DALLAS, 15 November 2021 – Today, the International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) announces Lisa Fricke, Senior Event Coordinator at BEE Content Design, as the 2021 recipient of the Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund grant. The Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund supports exhibitions and events industry education and professional development by providing a challenging and engaging educational experience for young professionals, professionals new to the exhibitions and events industry, those that are intellectually curious about trends and opportunities, and those that are interested in learning about the global marketplace.
“The Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund was created after the passing of a dear friend and mentor to many, Bob Dallmeyer,” said IAEE Executive Vice President & COO Cathy Breden, CMP, CAE, CEM. “Since its inception, the fund has provided financial assistance to 18 professionals.”
Each year, applicants for the grant are required to submit detailed information regarding their employment and experience in the exhibitions and events industry, as well as their intent for continued education and development of their career.
“I am so excited to be chosen as a Bob Dallmeyer Education Fund grant recipient,” said Fricke. “This opportunity will allow me to complete my goal of earning the Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) designation. I feel this certification is crucial in the advancement of my career in the exhibitions and events Industry.
