HOUSTON, 10 December 2025 – The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) announced today the results of the elections for its 2026 Board of Directors. Members of IAEE’s Board of Directors are elected on an annual basis by the official voting member of each IAEE member company.

Brian Pagel, Executive Vice President at Emerald, is a seasoned senior executive with nearly 30 years of experience in the business-to-business (B2B) events and media industry. Pagel is widely recognized for building high-performing teams and driving sustained growth through innovation, data-driven decision-making, and transformational leadership.

Throughout his career, Pagel has produced more than 300 live trade events across diverse vertical markets, forged long-standing partnerships with leading trade associations, and successfully launched brands into new and adjacent markets. He has led guided iconic brands through challenging economic cycles, transformed underperforming businesses into growth engines and sponsored multiple strategic acquisitions.

Pagel’s expertise spans strategic planning, brand repositioning, association partnerships, event co-locations, business development and talent cultivation. Passionate about the power of face-to-face engagement, he brings a forward-looking mindset and a bias for action that consistently delivers measurable results and accelerated growth.
