The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) is proud to have teamed with fellow Exhibitions Industry Collective members and leading industry organizations to present the first ever Exhibitions Industry Awareness Week held 20-23 February.
“IAEE is proud to invest in securing the future of exhibitions and events through our efforts to educate and attract potential professionals to our industry,” said IAEE President and CEO Marsha Flanagan, M.Ed., CEM. “Workforce development initiatives such as this are an important element of IAEE’s strategic plan and the collaborative vision shared by the industry’s top organizations.”
Exhibitions Industry Awareness Week served to promote the exhibitions industry as a career path opportunity to students, faculty, those looking for a career change and all members in each industry sector. Attendees learned about sector specific information including jobs available to those considering a career along with salary information, skill requirements and training needed.
In addition to IAEE, the Exhibitions Industry Collective includes the Exhibition Services & Contractors Association (ESCA), Exhibitions and Conferences Alliance (ECA), Experiential Designers & Producers Association (EDPA), International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) and Society of Independent Show Organizers (SISO).
