The International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) announces this year’s recipients of the Helen Brett™ Scholarship. The scholarship was established by Robert Kolinek, CEM, CMP and named for his grandmother who was a pioneer in the trade show industry. Its purpose is to assist individuals who are exploring the study of exhibitions and events management with the end goal of advancing their career in this field. This year’s application and selection process resulted in 14 scholarships awarded: 10 to undergraduate students, two to graduate students and, for the first time, two to Ph.D. students.
“This is the first year that we have awarded scholarships to doctoral students, which reflects the positive growth that IAEE’s Helen Brett™ Scholarship program is experiencing,” said IAEE President & CEO David DuBois, CMP-F, CAE, FASAE, CTA. “IAEE is proud to support future exhibitions and events professionals in their career development through this program.”
