Erika Welling, CEM, DES, is chief experience officer and founder of Blendz Events, a conceptual strategic organization which creates innovative and memorable exhibition and event experiences around the globe. Happy clients include San Diego Wine & Food Festival, Universal Whisky Experience, ConvExx (SHOT Show), National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), Gabriel & Co, NABD, and more.

Ms. Welling is a Las Vegas Hospitality Association Foundation (LVHAF) founding member, board member, and trustee; past president of the board for Las Vegas Hospitality Association (LVHA); founding member of the international Exhibition Think Tank (ETT); International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE) membership engagement past chairperson; IAEE Certified in Exhibition Management® (CEM) Learning Program past CEM Commission member and current CEM faculty and facilitator; IAEE Event Technology past committee member; Southwest IAEE chapter past chairperson and current director; and is a certified Digital Event Strategist (DES.) Erika has been awarded the IAEE Volunteer of the Year Award and Chapter Merit Award.

Throughout her career, Erika has served on boards of tourism, professional education, and philanthropic associations. Erika invariably incorporates her education from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in her profession. In her free time, she enjoys an assortment of art projects, reading, skiing, and hiking.
