Jim is a seasoned exhibition industry professional with more than 35 years of experience. He began his career in 1991 with a small, family-owned general service contractor in Southern California, where he developed a strong understanding of the industry and established himself as a reliable and resourceful leader.
In 1996, Jim joined the International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE), expanding his professional network and industry knowledge through continuing education, professional development, and active involvement in the exhibitions and events community.
Jim joined GES, a global leader in exhibition and event services, in 2006. This career milestone gave him the opportunity to further develop his expertise and contribute to a diverse range of events and client programs on a larger scale.
Committed to continuous learning and professional growth, Jim earned his Certified in Exhibition Management® (CEM) designation in 2007. He continued his professional education and achieved the CEM Advanced Program (CEM-AP) designation in 2025, further demonstrating his dedication to industry excellence, leadership, and best practices.
