Melanie Mathis, CEM, Customer Service Manager, ConvExx
Melanie Mathis, CEM, is the Customer Service Manager at ConvExx, where she leads the customer service team, manages registration for company-owned trade shows, and supports registration for association events. Her experience includes attendee admissions, customer experience, staff training, qualification processes, and onsite operations.
Melanie serves on the Board of Directors for the IAEE Southwest Chapter and is a CEM faculty member, teaching both domestically and internationally. She enjoys bringing a practical, approachable perspective to the classroom and helping industry professionals connect real-world experience with best practices.
She has also served as a guest lecturer for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Tourism and Hospitality program and holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California.
