Melanie Mathis, CEM, Customer Service Manager, ConvExx

Melanie Mathis, CEM, is the Customer Service Manager at ConvExx. She is responsible for hiring, training, and managing the customer service team, as well as overseeing registration management for company-owned trade events. In addition to her professional duties, Melanie has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) for their Tourism and Hospitality degree program.

She earned her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California. A dedicated young professional, Melanie is a strong advocate for the CEM program and for advancing young professionals in the exhibitions and events industry. She currently serves as a board member for the Southwest Chapter of IAEE, where she leads Programming & Events, and is also an active member of the chapter’s Marketing & Communications Committee.
