Mike Klemm, CEM, Director – Business Development, Global Convention Services Ltd

Michael Klemm, CEM is the Director – Business Development, for Global Convention Services based out of Halifax, Nova Scotia. He has been in the hospitality industry for over 30 years, previously spending time with GES as their Director of Sales for Western Canada. Michael has a degree in Law Enforcement and Security, as well as experience from managing SHOWTECH which provides temporary electrical and lighting services in Western Canada. He also managed conferences and events for the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta and has been on several Canadian Association of Exposition Management (CAEM) conference and development committees. Michael was awarded the 2015 Canadian Association of Exposition Management (CAEM) Associate Member of the Year.
