Ronny Coombs, CMP, CEM, Senior Exhibits Manager, American Society of Nephrology
As the Senior Exhibits Manager at ASN, Ronny leads the society’s scientific exposition sales and logistics efforts for their annual meeting, Kidney Week. Since graduating from GMU with her Bachelor of Science in Event Planning in 2014 Ronny has contributed to the success of hundreds of corporate, social, and educational events, including 9 iterations of Kidney Week. With over a decade of experience in the event industry, Ronny has developed her skill set on both the meetings and exhibitions sides of events. Ronny is passionate about helping young professionals find their way and grow inside the events industry through mentorship and education. When she’s not working on Kidney Week, attending industry events, or lending a helping hand to YPs and students, Ronny can be found taking very long walks with her corgi, Finn, by the lake front in Chicago, tending to her immense plant collection, or volunteering with her elder friends at her neighborhood senior center.
