Kimberly Hardcastle, CEM, Chief Strategist, Freeman

As Chief Strategist at Freeman, Kimberly Hardcastle helps event organizers solve complex challenges, strengthen participation and create more valuable event experiences. With more than two decades of industry experience and a natural ability to shift between analytical and creative thinking, she brings both discipline and imagination to strategic planning, event marketing, and organizational challenges.

Her expertise was shaped during a 24-year tenure at mdg, the event marketing agency she helped build before eventually selling to Freeman. Over the course of her career, Kimberly has worked with leading associations, independent show organizers, and event portfolios across a wide range of industries.

Kimberly is a Krakoff Leadership Institute alumna and has been named by IAEE as both an Educator of the Year and a Woman of Achievement. She writes a monthly column for PCMA’s Convene magazine and is a frequent presenter at industry events including SISO, PCMA Convening Leaders, Expo! Expo! and Lippman Connects programs.
