With all that, life can get pretty overwhelming. The problem is, “change ain’t going away”. The only constant IS change, especially in today’s fast-paced environment. Having the tools to deal with change and adapt to the challenges that transitions bring will improve your effectiveness and resilience.
In this engaging (and fun!) closing session, Anne Bonney, Change Management authority and author, will spark your courage with the ground-breaking concepts from her red-hot book by the same name, GET OVER IT!. You’ll have to turn up the AC for this high energy, “bring the heat” keynote and you’ll leave armed with strategies to extinguish the burning inferno that transition and change can cause.

You’ve heard the expression, “You Only Live Once” or “YOLO.” The truth is that you only die once. You live every day. The pandemic has caused us to carefully evaluate our time, and deeply consider how we spend our days. But here’s the good news: each day presents a new opportunity to pursue purpose, reinvent yourself, make an impact, and find fulfillment in every area of your life.
Come along as Yvette Simpson, Esq./MBA the “Queen of Reinvention,” shares real-life examples from her own 20+ year reinvention adventure and lessons from the executives and leaders she advises. She will take you on a journey of rediscovery, helping you recognize and remove roadblocks along the way, guiding you along the path of reinvention so that you can begin to live life fearlessly on purpose. If you are ready “come alive” at work, at home, and in your community…get in, buckle up, and enjoy the ride!

Through uncertainty we have all faced frustration, stress, and worry. Study after study show that employees in an “emotional state” don’t perform well, are less able to use their higher cognitive function and suffer the long-lasting physical effects of stress. We also know that behavioral preferences affect our emotions and interactions, with some being more expressive, and others internalizing their emotions. These emotional behavioral responses have the potential to impact business and personal relationships and wellbeing.
Join Claudia St. John, SPHR, SHRM-SCP as she explores the intersection of emotional science (EQ) and behavioral science (DISC) and how to reassess and improve your own emotional response, communication and interpersonal interactions. This in-depth session will include the use of DISC Behavioral Style Assessments to help you assess your own DISC behaviors through the lens of Change, Emotions and Conflict and improve your personal EQ.
