Today the International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE), the world’s leading trade association on exhibitions management, announces the debut of Expo! Expo! MENA to take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE in the Fall of 2020. Expo! Expo! MENA builds off the globally recognized Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition that takes place in the USA each December.
“By bringing the IAEE Expo! Expo! brand to the MENA region, we are filling a much-needed gap in this region by providing a trade show and conference that brings buyers and sellers together to conduct business and learn best practices in exhibition management,” said IAEE President and CEO David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA.
Expo! Expo! MENA will feature a trade show, education sessions, a general session and Certified in Exhibition Management® (CEM) Learning Program classes. Exact dates and programming are still being finalized.

The Middle East is a market that desires international expertise that will increase the opportunities of the exhibition industry in the region, especially through the training and educational courses that will be put forward and suggested during the show,” said IAEE MENA Chapter Chairperson, Bilal Al-Barmawi, CEO and Managing Director of 1st Arabia. “IAEE is the largest international association with vast experience in this area,” noted Al-Barmawi.
IAEE relaunched the IAEE MENA Chapter with a renewed focus for bringing excellence in exhibition management along with key networking activities to the Middle East North Africa region. Chaired by Bilal Al Barmawi, CEO and Managing Director of 1st Arabia, the IAEE MENA Chapter is positioned to make great headway in bringing exhibition management professionals together.
